Topgolf Gold Coast is looking for a Cook who will provide high-quality, best-in-class culinary offerings to delight guests. Cooks are responsible for prepping, cooking and presenting food made to order with care. We offer casual schedules, competitive pay, and opportunities for professional development.

Position Details

Role: Cook (Casual) – Topgolf Gold Coast

Pay: $33.38 per hour (Mon–Sat); $46.73 per hour (Sun). Junior rates may apply.

Location: Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia

Employment type: Full-time/Part-time opportunities available

Responsibilities

• Work effectively within a team to provide excellent internal service and promote a positive working environment.
• Follow workplace hygiene procedures (HACCP) and maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen.
• Report issues affecting kitchen operations to the Sous Chef.
• Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and quality standards.
• Be mindful of meal times, timeliness, efficiency, and presentation of all meals.
• Arrange, prepare and break down buffets and food displays while maintaining high presentation standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven cooking experience.
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in task execution.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to retain verbal instructions and follow directions.
• Basic knowledge of guest dietary requirements (e.g., allergies, intolerances).
• Knowledge of food safety; Food Safety Certification is an advantage.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen operations.
