Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Workplace Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our office. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming, efficient, and engaging environment for employees, candidates, and visitors. You’ll be the face of the office, a cultural ambassador, and a key partner in ensuring our workplace runs smoothly and reflects our values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional front-of-house service by warmly welcoming employees, candidates, and guests, and managing reception operations including mail, packages, and visitor systems.
  • Oversee daily office operations, prioritising and resolving employee requests in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Lead internal office communications to keep teams informed and engaged, ensuring access to up-to-date information and resources.
  • Manage relationships with local vendors (e.g. food services, janitorial, fitness) to ensure high-quality service and operational continuity.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement events that align with company culture and budget.
  • Act as a cultural leader, championing company values and fostering a connected, inclusive workplace.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams on space planning, office moves, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Oversee the food and beverage programme, ensuring variety and inclusivity of dietary needs.
  • Develop, manage, and forecast office budgets with a focus on resource efficiency and financial accountability.
  • Partner with procurement and legal teams to identify and onboard new vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards through regular inspections and proactive risk management.
  • Support cross-functional workplace initiatives and special projects as needed.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in workplace experience, facilities, or office operations within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a local workplace team.
  • Strong budget management, vendor coordination, and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira.
  • Experience in workplace safety and compliance practices.
  • Fluency in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to adopt new technologies and systems.
