Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager is a dynamic retail leadership position. You will support the Store Manager in driving store performance, fostering a customer‑centric culture, and uplifting team capability. This role runs on a Tuesday‑Saturday roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to drive sales performance and achieve targets through effective product selling.
• Assist customers in achieving their home vision, providing styling solutions, upselling and cross‑selling where appropriate.
• Coach and guide the retail sales team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Support day‑to‑day store operations, including rostering, financial performance, administrative tasks, recruiting and onboarding.
• Develop and implement strategies that maximise sales and customer service targets, driving overall store performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2‑3+ years of retail sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Strong commercial acumen and a results‑driven mindset.
• Ability to coach and motivate teams to deliver high‑quality service.
• Resourceful problem‑solving skills and a can‑do attitude.
• Balance customer care, team development, and administrative tasks.
• Interest in home styling or furniture is a plus.
• Physically capable of manual handling of products.
• A valid Australian work visa or citizenship.
