Overview


Our client is a successful private real estate debt investor with a well-capitalised global partner. They pride themselves on their commercial approach with a complementary investment, development and construction track record. They offer fast and flexible commercial real estate debt solutions as an alternative to mainstream banks.


Responsibilities



  • Origination / Business Development focus; develop the firm’s distribution and access to the commercial real estate debt market.

  • Drive and manage the firm’s overall lending portfolio and deliver alternative debt solutions to clients across Australia.

  • Originate new lending/investment opportunities in the $3-30m range; retain and manage existing relationships including broker networks and direct channels.

  • Conduct credit analysis and underwriting; lead on structuring and negotiation of loan terms in alignment with the firm’s investment criteria.


Qualifications



  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications, 10+ years’ experience in banking or private credit fund with proven track record in business development and origination; advanced knowledge in commercial real estate; strong credit risk analysis and management skills.

  • Proven management and leadership experience; mentoring juniors; excellent communication and presentation skills; self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.
