Business Development Manager

Our client is a leader in the Hydraulic space with a solid and longstanding reputation in the market. As a supplier of Hydraulic solutions to the Truck/Industrial equipment service space, there are aggressive growth plans in place, creating opportunities for Business Development Managers to join their WA team to spearhead their growth.

This is a newly created opportunity for a BDM to break into their untapped markets in the Industrial Equipment (Services) whilst also increasing share of wallet with their existing and lapsed customers.

The role is hybrid/flexible and requires a BDM who can work autonomously to manage their territory, whilst receiving ongoing support from the team and Management over East.

Role responsibilities;

·     Develop and execute individual sales plans to meet targets.

·     Provide technical support to customers on product selection and application.

·     Leverage existing relationships to grow the customer base.

·     Manage CRM data, sales pipeline, and reporting to support budget achievement.

·     Undertaking a “solution sales” approach to new and existing customers.

·     Maintain strong product knowledge and stay informed on market trends and competitor activity.

·     Understand customer needs and align solutions accordingly.

What were looking for;

• Proven BDM experience within Hydraulics/Heavy Industrial space in WA.
• Proactive new business hunter who can open doors and uncover opportunities.
• Ideally Mechanical/Diesel Fitter/Trade background with strong technical aptitude.
• Ability to work autonomously managing a territory of customers.
• Understanding of the sales process within Industrial Equipment Services and ideally some contacts.
• Willingness to undertake travel in WA when required.
