Overseeing multiple brands, the role focuses on harmonising site performance, customer experience, marketing execution, and scalable platform infrastructure across regions, while partnering closely with internal leadership and external vendors.
This is a “hands-on” leadership role, combining day-to-day execution with long-term planning. The successful candidate will have the gravitas to operate with executive presence, the agility to work in a fast-evolving environment, and the strategic foresight to help shape the future of the digital channel.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Define and deliver the e-commerce roadmap for all brands across AU, NZ.
- Partner with commercial and executive leaders to align digital initiatives with broader business goals.
- Set and monitor KPIs across markets, including traffic, conversion, AOV, ROAS, and CLTV.
- Leverage shared processes and learnings to drive cross-brand efficiency and growth.
- Oversee multi-site Shopify environments including architecture, customisation, and integrations.
- Lead end-to-end replatforming or site development projects.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and integrated tech stacks across martech, commerce, and operations.
- Manage regional digital budgets including performance marketing, platform spend, and tools.
- Contribute to planning and forecasting with partial P&L accountability (revenue, cost centres, budgeting).
- Drive operational efficiency with a strong understanding of regional logistics, payment gateways, and fulfilment.
- Own the digital customer acquisition strategy across performance and owned media.
- Drive omnichannel alignment with retail and marketing teams.
- Oversee CRM programs to improve customer retention, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
- Lead and grow a cross-functional e-commerce team across territories and brands.
- Act as primary point of contact for global digital partners, agencies, tech vendors, and fulfilment providers.
- Present performance updates, commercial plans, and recommendations to senior leadership with executive presence.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a commercially minded eCommerce role.
- Retail and omnichannel experience highly regarded. Apparel/Fashion experience also desirable
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong relationship management skills
- Platform expertise in Shopify and web analytics tools
- Multi-region and multi-brand management in an e-commerce context.
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end site launches and replatforming projects.
- Experience managing cross-region digital marketing budgets and campaigns.
