The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, this business critical executive role will continue to refine and operationalise the groups technology and digital transformation strategy. You will act as a key business advisor/partner, ensuring all areas of the business are applying and optimising the technology stack to achieve respective commercial goals. You will lead a team who will help the "Best Customer Experience" brand promise, with a single customer view and real-time industry leading omni-channel digital experiences.

You will be responsible for optimising recent investments in new CRM & ERP systems, ensuring IT infrastructure resilience, enhancing cybersecurity, and building a high-performing technology function. Additionally, you will drive vendor accountability and extract value through strategic procurement and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technology Strategy & Innovation
  • Define and deliver a future-focused technology strategy aligned to business goals.
  • Identify and deploy emerging technologies such as AI and advanced analytics to sharpen the groups competitive advantage.
  • As a business partner, translate commercial needs into practical, scalable technology solutions.
  1. Enterprise Systems & Data Management
  • Lead strategic optimisation of CRM and ERP systems.
  • Champion data integrity, analytics, and business intelligence across the organisation.
  • Ensure best-in-class IT support and digital enablement.
  1. IT Infrastructure & Operational Excellence
  • Design and manage secure, scalable IT infrastructure (cloud/hybrid).
  • Guarantee high system availability and performance-ensuring operational continuity.
  • Lead service delivery and business continuity planning.
  1. Cybersecurity & Risk Governance
  • Implement a comprehensive cybersecurity framework to protect assets, data, and operations.
  • Oversee security testing, incident response, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and regulatory standards.
  1. Vendor & Commercial Management
  • Lead high-value negotiations with software vendors and service providers.
  • Establish robust SLAs and enforce performance accountability.
  • Drive cost optimisation and ensure strategic value from IT investments.

  • Build, mentor, and lead a diverse, high-impact technology team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and collaboration.
  • Inspire teams to contribute meaningfully to the companys broader digital evolution.
  • Drive cross-functional engagement, ensuring technology acts as a strategic enabler for the entire organisation

Your Profile

To thrive in this role, you will be a commercially savvy, results-oriented technology leader (GM Technology/ CTO/ CIO) with a track record of successfully driving enterprise-wide technology transformation. You will ideally have demonstrable experience driving a technology enabled culture.

You will be a well organised, commercially astute and personable leader adept at change management, system design and implementation, who is proficient and capable in dealing with multiple stakeholders with differing priorities and levels of technical expertise.

Other desirable experiences and attributes include:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification highly regarded.
  • Proven experience leading complex IT infrastructure projects and digital security enhancements.
  • Deep expertise with various enterprise platforms-particularly Salesforce and Microsoft Business Central.
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-value commercial contracts and holding vendors to account.
  • Strong grasp of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance, and risk management.
  • Outstanding leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
  • Adaptive, hands-on, and comfortable operating in both strategic and operational contexts.
