Garden Village Retirement Living is looking for a new part time After-Hours Wellbeing Attendant to join our fun and supportive team!

As an After-Hours Wellbeing Attendant, you will:

  • Stay onsite overnight in accommodation provided by Garden Village
  • Attend to resident requests
  • Support the retirement living team
  • Respond to after-hours call outs
  • Undertake basic first aid and, if required, seek further assistance from emergency services

Important Information

  • Work and be paid $27.80 per hour for hours between 4.45pm-7.45pm and 6.15am-8.45am.Between the hours of 7.45pm-6.15am you can do whatever you like - study, watch TV, sleep, etc. - as long as you stay on site and attend to call bells.
  • You will be paid a sleepover allowance, currently $61.16 per night, regardless of whether any calls are received.
  • For any call outs during sleepover hours, you will be paid at the applicable penalty/overtime rate.
  • There may also be some day shifts available (weekday and/or weekend)

This is a great opportunity for work experience if you are a student or just looking for a change of pace from the regular 9-5 lifestyle. Must be available Wednesday night and the rotating weekend. No experience necessary, just be reliable and a team player.

The person we seek will: 

·      Hold a current First Aid Certificate

·      Be reliable

·      Provide exceptional customer service

·      Have a friendly disposition and enjoy connecting with our residents

·      Available for overnight onsite shifts

· Flexable availability (Must be available Wednesday nights and rotating weekend)
