What does the job look like?

As a Transport Clerk at Linfox, you will provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and staff by the way of preparing weekly payroll, manifests, and creating delivery dockets requirements for our customers. Further duties include but are not limited to general administration, producing & maintaining spreadsheets and processing data entry for KPI reporting. Key areas:

• Weekly customer invoicing for customer, external and internal contractors
• Acting as the first point of contact between the transport team and our customers
• Collating POD’s from stores and providing explanations for all discrepancies in a timely manner;
• Monitoring and updating the customer’s internal systems to ensure accurate planning and allocation of fleet
• Generate daily and weekly reports for customers and senior staff members
• Accurate data entry of all movements into relevant systems

• Proactive approach to solving problems/issues
• High attention to detail and flexible approach to all tasks
• High customer services focus, excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders on all levels.
• High level of computer literacy, particularly SAP and MS office suite
