Production Scheduler

Introduction: Sunbeam and Angas Park have been at the forefront of the Australian Dried Fruit Industry for many years dedicated to the growing, processing, packaging and sales of dried fruits. We operate as a wholesaler into Australian retail markets and industrial markets as well as export markets around the world. The Production and Materials Scheduler works in close collaboration with a range of stakeholders including Production Supervisors, Supply Planning, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain to develop and maintain a master production schedule for the Manufacturing Plant. The position is responsible for coordinating the availability of WIP materials and coordinating the condition monitoring of the fruit inventory to ensure finished goods are produced on time for the National Distribution Centre. The role also oversees and coordinates the inventory control within the production areas including monthly stocktakes and cycle counts in these areas. The Production & Inventory Administrator reports into this role. Description: Why Join Us? Prior scheduling and ERP experience is highly advantageous. Excellent attention to detail. Good analytical and problem solving skills. Good communication skills with a highly varied workforce. An ability to persevere and follow up issues. An ability to display good mental agility in a very dynamic environment. Good computer literacy in general, but especially with the MS Office suite. An ability to navigate through ERP systems is advantageous. Note that this role is a monthly salaried role.
