• Permanent position
• Base salary $113,100.00 + allowances + superannuation
• District allowance (subject to policy) $3000 for singles & $6000 for families
• Housing allowance of $13,000.00 p/a which is paid in addition to salary every pay period
• Leave loading 17.5% paid on annual leave (when taken) $1522
• Electricity allowance paid over summer 10 pay periods - $1000 p/a
• Annual airfares after 12 month of continuous service - $1000 p/a
• Total gross amount for this position - $132,678.00 (singles) & $135,733 (families)
• Supportive healthcare team

Responsibilities:
This role offers outstanding opportunities for professional development, enabling you to build extensive remote and regional nursing experience across diverse clinical skills and community health. You will become part of a committed multidisciplinary health team that provides excellent mentoring and support.

• Provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and care to patients within the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure multidisciplinary patient-centred care.
• Lead the development and implementation of Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
• Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and medical record management

Selection criteria:

• Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Nurse Practitioner
• Postgraduate Qualification: Master of Nurse Practitioner
• Extensive experience in primary care nursing, with advanced clinical assessment and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
• A commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Must have full working rights for Australia (i.e. Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia/New Zealand, or a current, valid visa with no restrictions).
