Curlwaa Citrus Packhouse
Costa is Australias leading grower, packer and marketer of premium quality fresh fruit and vegetables.
Costas Curlwaa Packhouse is located in Curlwaa NSW (20 min drive from Mildura) and operates from May to October each year packing fresh citrus fruit such as oranges, lemons, mandarins, tangelos, limes and grapefruit for both export and domestic markets.
Who we are looking for:
An attention to detail and quality focused person who enjoys being a part of the day-to-day Quality Assurance & Control process performing laboratory analysis and reporting on data to assist Citrus Operations meet regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
What youll be doing:
The ability to work in an analytical, solution focused and time conscious manner is critical to the success of this role.
Other responsibilities:
- Accurately calibrate and operate laboratory equipment/instruments.
- Analysis of citrus fruit juice samples to determine internal maturity in accordance with Australian Citrus Standards and Customer Specifications.
- Assist in pre harvest assessment of varieties as required.
- Perform seed counts to help determine fruit suitability for relevant markets.
- General housekeeping duties associated with lab cleanliness and hygiene.
- Data entry of analysed results and maintain records.

- Previous laboratory experience preferred but not essential as on the job training will be provided.
- HACCP training would be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
