About the role As part of our holistic care of residents, the Pastoral Care Practitioner is responsible for the provision of spiritual care and emotional support at Calvary Rye Sands home in Rye. The Practitioner offers support to those in the Home on a regular basis as well as during significant events and life transitions. As a member of the Home leadership team, the Practitioner collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, contributing assessments and reviews of the spiritual needs of each resident. The role is paid under the Award - MA- Pastoral Carer L2 PP1 - PP4 (Health Professional 2). Hourly rate ranges between $36.35 - $40.66, excluding super and salary packaging benefits. Your main duties will include: Providing spiritual care support to residents according to triage priorities As required, providing spiritual care support to residents family members and to staff Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders About you You are a highly engaged professional practitioner, seeking to up hold the dignity of people living in residential aged care and seeking to make a meaningful contribution to their wellbeing.
