The Role As a Business Services Supervisor/Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing statutory compliance for companies, trusts, individuals, and SMSFs
- Managing monthly reporting and management accounting functions
- Providing tax research, advice, and business consulting
- Reviewing the work of junior staff and offering guidance on complex tax and advisory issues
- Offering regular feedback on team performance, achievements, and challenges
- Managing workflow in collaboration with company directors
- Facilitating open communication regarding process improvements and necessary changes
- Coordinating with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
- Engaging with external tax experts as required for client needs
- Maintaining and updating the firms tax knowledge database
- Recent experience in public practice (essential)
- Previous experience in a similar management role (highly desirable)
- A solid background in providing advisory services to clients
- Proficiency with cloud accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and Class
- CA/CPA qualification, or working towards it (highly desirable)
- Enjoy a supportive and inclusive work culture, with regular social events
- Take on a role with a strong advisory focus (40-50% of the work) alongside some management accounting duties

- Paying up to $160K plus super plus 20% bonus
