A well-established construction group is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join their high-performing commercial team. Working across a portfolio of medium to high-density residential projects, this is an opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end contract management while mentoring junior staff and contributing to project delivery success.

This role is ideal for a confident contracts professional with strong commercial insight, a passion for detail, and the ability to manage procurement, budgeting, and compliance across complex construction programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full contract administration lifecycle including procurement, scopes of work, payments, claims, and variations
  • Monitor budget vs. forecast, report on financial performance and cash flow, and maintain margin integrity
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage trade packages and subcontract agreements
  • Coordinate with PMs, site teams, engineers, and suppliers to align contracts with construction programs
  • Assess subcontractor claims, variations, and EOTs; manage approvals and reporting
  • Lead and mentor junior CA team members; uphold commercial best practice and compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate records using Jobpac, Payapps, Aconex, and project registers
What Were Looking For
  • 5-10 years experience as a Contracts Administrator in residential construction
  • Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of subcontract negotiation, construction programs, and procurement strategy
  • Proficiency in Jobpac, MS Project, Aconex, and the full Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage financial risks and reporting deadlines
  • White Card and sound knowledge of WHS and quality standards
