As a Bookkeeping Supervisor, youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the bookkeeping services division. 

This firm are in serious growth mode, in this role you will be involved in reviewing and producing work alongside a highly experienced bookkeeping Manager.  Due to growth, this role will grow organically into looking after your own portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities at a Glance:

• Collaborate with senior management to ensure deadlines are met and work is of the highest standard.

• Guide and mentor Bookkeepers to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

• Oversee the preparation of client accounts, providing guidance where necessary.

• Conduct high-level reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency in client accounts.

• Maintain compliance with statutory requirements and deadlines.

• Uphold values and ethical standards at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Several years bookkeeping experience, preferably in public practice.

• Proficiency in XERO and other accounting software.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• XERO Advisor Certification and Payroll Certification are preferred.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with Australian Taxation Office portal and regulations.

• Expertise in interpreting industry award rates and ATO reporting requirements.
