About the role

Are you ready for an exciting career at the heart of Sydney Airports operations? Were looking for a dedicated Ramp Safety Coordinator to ensure the operational safety and efficiency of our ramp areas.

This includes monitoring ramp activities and serviceability of assets, enforcing compliance with standard operating procedures, and liaising with stakeholders. You will support compliance initiatives and safety improvement programs and contribute to the ongoing development of airside operations through consultation and reporting.

Its a perfect role for someone who loves a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

In this role, you will be

• Oversee and ensure the safety, serviceability and security of ramp operations in line with standard operating procedures.
• Conduct inspections on assets and operations, enforce compliance, and support safety improvement programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve operational issues and optimise efficiency.
• Report on compliance program performance and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Airfield Operations for emergency responses and aircraft escort services.

About you

• 3- 5 years of experience in airline/airport operations, with a focus on safety management or airfield coordination.
• Tertiary qualifications with a Certificate III Aerodrome Operations or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols, security systems, and industry best practices.
• Proven ability to coordinate within technical teams or projects in high-pressure environments.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines and achieving results.
• A results-driven mindset with a strong focus on delivering a reliable and high-performing service.
