In you role as Network Coordinator you will coordinate the operations of the communications centre network workforce to meet demands of multichannel contacts from members of the public and police and ensure a high level of client service.

In you role as Network Coordinator you will coordinate the operations of the communications centre network workforce to meet demands of multichannel contacts from members of the public and police and ensure a high level of client service.
Your key accountabilities
The core capability requirements for this role are:
• Facilitate ongoing relationships, communication, support and liaison with Police Communications Centre operational staff, Supervisors, Officers in Charge and other internal and external stakeholders.• Provide subject matter expertise and high quality written and verbal advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders including the potential business impacts of project deliverables, legislative changes, operations and systems enhancement.• Participate in projects and assist with risk and impact assessments, documentation, research and evaluation of network processes and demand management.• Coordinate Communications Centre resourcing including the development and continual improvement of processes, procedures and office systems.• Lead quality assurance of demand management data gathering and analysis processes and monitor and report on associated risks and issues.• Monitor, coordinate and provide advice on operational requirements, incidents and events that impact demand.• Provide direction to Police Communications Centres supervisors and operators
Role Requirements
Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience
• High level written and verbal communications skills.• Analytical skills and capability of researching, documenting and evaluating business processes.• Experience or knowledge related to Workforce Management, Planning and/or Rostering would be highly regarded.
Other
• Appointees to this role may be expected to participate in a 24-hour, 7 day roster with work hours equating to 36.25 hours per week. Shift penalties apply.
