Role Overview

Were on the lookout for skilled and motivated Boilermakers / Welders to join our QLD team based in Narangba. Whether youre looking for day or afternoon shift, and whether youre after full-time or casual work, weve got options to suit your lifestyle.

Youll be working on a variety of exciting steel fabrication projects with the support of a tight-knit team, top-tier safety practices, and the opportunity for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

Steel Fabrication & Welding

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans

  • Perform high-quality structural welding

  • Operate tools and machinery with care and accuracy

Safety & Quality Compliance

  • Follow Hanlons safety-first procedures and ISO-certified systems

  • Perform pre-start checks and contribute to toolbox talks

  • Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organised

Team Collaboration & Initiative

  • Thrive in a team-focused, solution-driven environment

  • Take ownership of tasks and bring a can-do attitude

  • Communicate clearly with your team and supervisors

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential

  • Trade-qualified Boilermaker or Welder

  • Minimum 2 years industrial experience

  • Confidence in reading structural drawings

  • Strong safety, quality, and accountability mindset

Desirable Tickets & Licences

  • White Card (required)

  • Working at Heights

  • EWP Licence

  • Forklift Licence

  • Dogman / Rigging (Basic)

  • HR Truck Licence

  • Crane Ticket

  • First Aid Certification
